masterful evocation of the ancient, tragic grunge & misery of well, conflict, but you tucked in some of that hail- fellow- well- met philosophy/ comrades in arms thing that humans are able to summon...
I can't really imagine the particular pitch of this phenomenon that wars instill . The rough quality seems
perfect for an image that sweeps across time in regards to the acoutrements of war these weary, grey
soldiers have embedded into their very marrow.
