Freya, the goddess of fertility from the recently released Sega/The Creative Assembly title Viking: Battle for Asgard. The task was to achieve a rather realistic and more detailed feel of the in-game character. Since was used for life-size standee prints, the artwork has an extremely high resolution, it was a challenge to bring in all the details while preventing from a too stiff and unnatural look with that huge size. 100 percent done in Painter X and Photoshop CS3, no use of 3d or photo manipulation. Commissioned by SEGA/The Creative Assembly.
SEGA's VIKING - Freya by *michaelkutsche is mind blowing. The lighting is perfect, the anatomy is perfect, and the textures are drop dead gorgeous. Amazing work! (

Because of the hair she looks like Lea who heard that her children had bad grade and she's going to talk to that teacher
But very nice work
