Alice in Wonderland-Knaveby ~michaelkutsche

Here's one of the character/costume designs I did for the Knave of Hearts on Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland".
I think Crispin Glover is the perfect pick for the role!
All done in Painter/Photoshop, no use of 3d. I had a photo reference for Crispin's face

There will be an Alice in Wonderland exhibition at Arludik Gallery in Paris on the 3rd and 4th of March with drawings by Bobby Chiu, Kei Acedera and myself.
Arludik is the first gallery dedicated to the art and artists behind cinema, comics and video games.
They already had exhibitions on iconic artists like Moebius, Miyazaki, Otomo, Giger and John Howe, just to name a few.

I love this! I liked how he had a certain sex appeal..like the Mad Hatter. It really gave the movie a good twist (for lack of a better word).
